Leo had ventured into the part of the forest, where he kept watch for pokemon that were not well off in this Ecosystem. The gentle giant looked to see the berry garden, guarded by the adorable Swadloon. He knew it was zachary stellar 's pokemon and he tended to his berry garden well. The grove here used to be home to a very noble Leafeon that Zachary now called "Eden" . However, what was surprising was soon he saw it. AN oddity of a fire pokemon-- a Torkoal approach from the garden. Whether it was hungry or not, its sheer heat was not very welcoming to the plants. Even Swadloon as it watched over, waved its wrapped up little arms, trying to deter the Pokemon away. [break][break]

Leo was in no better boat, as his Pokemon, being ice types, didn't have much luck to stop a fire type like that. But he had some options to help. "Oh no you don't, big fellah. Come on out Odin!" Leo soon called out his Beartic from his Pokeball, the big bear giving a loud roar to deter the pokemon. The giant tortoise stopped, and soon huffed out white smoke from its nose. "Don't worry, buddy bear! We're gonna make this quick. Use Aqua Jet!" Leo commanded. The big bear soon was suddenly surrounded by water, both protecting and propelling him. The big bear suddenly slammed into the turtle, its watery attack not only impacting the intruder greatly, but also protected Beartic from the heat. [break][break]

That one shot was all he needed as he took out a Pokeball. he then threw it right at Torkoal, which hit him in the shell. The Torkoal soon vanished into the ball, and began to wobble. After a moment, it paused-- showing the pokemon had indeed been captured. A sigh of relief came from the Pokemon Ranger as he picked up the ball. He was not the best at fire types, but his mentors always said to diversify too. He pocketed the ball as the Big Beartic approached the Swadloon, giving a gentle wave of its big paw. For a big icy polar bear, he was a gentle giant-- just like Leo. [break][break]
